Galaxy S20 Series Rear Camera Specs Revealed By Tipster

The latest Samsung Galaxy S20 series leak comes from Ice Universe, a well-known tipster. He shared rear camera specs of the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra.

Do note that he did not list the exact sensors, aperture info, or anything of the sort. So, this is not a detailed rear camera leak, but thanks to this information, we at least know the megapixel count that we can expect.

The Galaxy S20 series rear camera specs are exactly what we expected

According to the source, the Galaxy S20 will feature a single 64-megapixel, and two 12-megapixel cameras on the back. The Galaxy S20+ will have that exact same setup, plus a ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensor.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra will stand out. This handset will include a 108-megapixel camera, paired with both a 48-megapixel one, and a 12-megapixel unit. On top of that, a ToF sensor will also be a part of the package.

That 108-megapixel camera on the back of the Galaxy S20 Ultra will offer 100x zoom. That information surfaced yesterday, we’re looking at a periscope-style camera here, similar to the one on the Huawei P30 Pro.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra will be the only Galaxy S20 series handset to include a periscope-style camera. It is obvious that Samsung will place this phone above the Galaxy S20 and S20+ in the market.

Now, as far as front-facing sensors are concerned, the Galaxy S20 and S20+ will include a 10-megapixel unit. We’re not sure about the Galaxy S20 Ultra just yet, but it’s possible that it will be the same.

All three Galaxy S20 smartphones will be made out of metal and glass, it seems. All three phones are expected to include a display camera hole, and really thin bezels.

Two 4G and three 5G variants are coming

According to the information that surfaced yesterday, we’ll get two 4G and three 5G variants of the Galaxy S20 series. Both the Galaxy S20 and S20+ will arrive in both 4G and 5G models. The Galaxy S20 Ultra will ship in a 5G flavor only.

The Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra will become official on February 11 in San Francisco. Samsung already scheduled a press event for their announcement.

In addition to those three devices, the company is also expected to announce a new foldable. That will be the company’s first clamshell foldable smartphone. That device will be called the Galaxy Z Flip, according to rumors.

That is more or less it. We now have even more detail regarding the Galaxy S20 series rear camera specs. Not everything is known at this point, but at this rate, it will be soon.
