Kilpsch has a new pair of truly wireless earbuds on the way, and they come with AI technology built-in.
That said, they will also cost $650. Making them one of the most expensive pairs of truly wireless earbuds that you can find.
According to Klipsch the AI technology that’s integrated with these earbuds will run on Kilpsch’s own operating system. The company hasn’t said much more than that, so it’s not entirely clear what the AI will actually do for the user.
Klipsch is including AI in its new T5 True Wireless ANC earbuds as well
The Klipsch T10 won’t be the only pair of new earbuds coming that have artificial intelligence.
The company is also introducing a new pair of the T5. The previous iteration of these retailed initially for $200. The new pair called the T5 True Wireless ANC are $300, so they’ll be a bit more than the last version.
In addition to the artificial intelligence integration, both the T5 True Wireless ANC and the T10 will come with gesture controls for audio management. You’ll likely be able to pause, play, and skip tracks with the controls as well as adjust the volume.
Active Noise Cancellation is included in both pairs of earbuds too. Meaning better sound isolation so you can focus on what you’re listening to.
There’s a sport version of the T5 coming too
There’s a sport version of the T5 on the way as well that will retail for $229. These will have more of a rugged build than the T5 that have the AI built-in.
If you’re wondering how rugged, Klipsch is implying that you shouldn’t have to worry about moisture or dirt while using them. The company says that they come with an IP67 rating and are dust and water tight.
This means they’ll be safe from rain and drops in the dirt. They should also be ok if you accidentally spill something on them or drop them in water, so long as they aren’t submerged for too long.
The case is also said to offer a moisture removal feature. Though how that works in practice is unclear, and likely will be until these are launched later this year.
Klipsch says that the T10 and T5 Truly Wireless ANC will be launching in the Fall of 2020. Meanwhile the T5 sport model will be launching in the Summer of 2020, alongside a T5 II with better Bluetooth and a better fit for $199. However the company doesn’t given an exact date on any of the new earbuds.
