Motorola Moto G8 Appears In Renders Along With Its Specs

The Motorola Moto G8 renders and specifications have surfaced. These renders come from 91mobiles and reveal two color variants of the Moto G8, we’re not sure these will be the only color options, though.

The white & blue Motorola Moto G8 surfaced

If you take a look at the images, you’ll see the white and blue color variants of the phone. Both of them have a textured finish, by the way.

As you can see, there’s a display camera hole in the top-left corner. The Moto G8 will have a flat display, and even though it will offer thin bezels, it will have a rather noticeable ‘chin’.

The phone’s side and top bezels will also be somewhat thicker than they would on a flagship phone. The phone will offer rounded corners, and rounded display corners.

All of its physical keys will be placed on the right, the volume up, down, and power / lock buttons. You will notice the company’s logo on the back, and that logo actually doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

Three cameras are placed on the back of the device, and are vertically-aligned. A single camera can be seen on the front. You will also notice that a 3.5mm headphone jack is a part of the package here. It is placed at the very top of the phone.

The device is expected to include a 6.39-inch display, and a 4,000mAh battery

Now, in terms of specs, they were reported by XDA Developers recently. The Motorola Moto G8 is expected to feature a 6.39-inch HD+ (1560 x 720) display.

The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 665 64-bit octa-core processor, and will include 2GB / 3GB / 4GB of RAM. The phone will also incorporate 32GB / 64GB of internal storage.

16-megapixel (f/1.7 aperture), 2-megapixel (f/2.2 aperture, macro lens), and 8-megapixel (f/2.2 aperture, 118-degree wide-angle lens) cameras will be included on the back of this phone. An 8-megapixel (f/2.0) unit will sit on the phone’s front side.

A 4,000mAh battery was also mentioned in the spec sheet, along with 10W wired charging. In some regions, the Moto G8 will offer two SIM card slots, and it will support 4G LTE, by the way.

Android 10 will come pre-installed on the phone out of the box, while the phone will come with Bluetooth support, of course. The device will be 160mm tall, and 74mm wide, while it will not include an NFC chip.

We still do not know what build materials will Motorola use for this device. If we had to guess, we’d say its body will be made out of polycarbonate (plastic).
