Many people have been wondering when will OnePlus announce its true wireless earbuds. Well, now we know an answer to that, they will arrive alongside the OnePlus 8 series.
This information comes from Max J., a well-known tipster. He confirmed that will happen in one of his Twitter comments recently. One user asked him if he has any information regarding pricing, but unfortunately, he does not, yet.
OnePlus had introduced two pairs of wireless earbuds in the past, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless and Bullets Wireless 2. Both of those are connected with a cable, even though they’re Bluetooth earbuds.
These will be the very first true wireless earbuds from OnePlus
These upcoming earbuds that OnePlus will announce will be the company’s very first true wireless earbuds. They will not be connected with a cable, but completely separate. They will come with a charging case, of course, like every other pair of true wireless earbuds in the market.
We do not have any information about their design or anything of the sort. It will be interesting to see OnePlus’ take on this audio product, though. True wireless earbuds have managed to become extremely available in the market lately. There are some affordable ones that are pretty good already, so OnePlus will really need to knock this one out of the park.
So, these will launch alongside the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, and we still do not know when those phones will arrive. If OnePlus plans on sticking to its release cycle, they will arrive in May. That may not be the case, though.
Leaks regarding the OnePlus 8 series started last year. The company already indirectly referred to the ONePlus 8 series, and things seem to be in motion already. Those two phones may launch earlier than expected, maybe even in March or April. We’ll see.
OnePlus’ upcoming flagships are expected to include IP certification this time around
In any case, this time around, both the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are expected to offer proper certification for water and dust resistance. The OnePlus 8 Pro is also rumored to include wireless charging, maybe even the regular model.
Both devices will be made out of metal and glass. Both will include a display camera hole, and curved displays. Minimal bezels will be a part of the package, and the same goes for an in-display scanner.
Android 10 will come pre-installed on both phones, along with OnePlus’ OxygenOS. The Snapdragon 865 will fuel the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, while you can expect to see plenty of RAM as well.
The OnePlus 8 Lite is also rumored to arrive, but that’s still up in the air. It may arrive, and it may not. Also, it may arrive at the same time as the two flagships, or later on, we’ll see.
OnePlus’ fast wired charging will be a part of the package. It remains to be seen if wireless charging will be included, and now OnePlus will handle that if it ends up being a part of the package.
