POCO X2 Appears In Both Renders & Real-Life Images Ahead Of Launch

The POCO X2 will become official on February 4, and the device just surfaced in renders and real-life images. The POCO X2 will become the very first POCO-branded device since the POCO F1 which was announced back in August 2018.

This will also become the second POCO-branded device ever, as the company did not announce a phone since the POCO F1 / Pocophone F1.

Just to be clear, the POCO and Pocophone refer to the same company / phones. POCO is being used in India, while the Pocophone branding is used everywhere else, pretty much.

At least that was the case with the Pocophone F1, we’ll see what the company is planning this time around.

The POCO X2 will make its debut in India, hence the name. We’ll see if the company will release it in other markets, though, but it probably will.

Leaked POCO X2 renders more or less prove it will look like the Redmi K30

If you take a look at the gallery below this article, you’ll get to see real-life images of the POCO X2. Renders are shown in an image below this paragraph. It is not yet confirmed this is the POCO X2, but chances are this information is accurate. Let’s take a look at the renders first, shall we. Both renders of the phone’s front and back are shown here, one of each, in the same image. This basically proves that the phone will look like the Redmi K30.

The POCO F2 was rumored to be a repackaged Redmi K30, but it seems like the POCO X2 will be instead.

So, the POCO X2 will be made out of metal and glass, while it will have that specific camera module design on the back. Its rear cameras will be vertically-aligned, while two cameras will be included on the front. Those two cameras will be included in a pill-shaped cutout.

The phone will include a 120Hz display, and the Snapdragon 730G

The source also claims that the POCO X2 will feature a 6.67-inch 120Hz ‘RealityFlow Display’. A 64-megapixel camera will be included on the phone’s back, while the Snapdragon 730G is expected to fuel the phone.

A 4,500mAh battery will also be a part of this package, while the device will arrive with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Well, at least one variant of the device will.

Based on this image, that variant of the phone will be priced at Rs. 18,999 ($266) in India. That is not a bad price tag if the specs info is accurate, not bad at all.

You can also check out several real-life images of the phone in the gallery below. These images pretty much prove that the leaked renders are accurate. One of them proves that MIUI 11 will come pre-installed on the device, POCO’s version of it.
