Motorola Edge+ Logo & Flagship Specifications Surface

The Motorola Edge+ is allegedly the company’s upcoming flagship, and the phone’s specifications have just surfaced. In addition to those specs, a logo that the company will use also appeared.

Let’s get that logo out of the way first. You can check it out in an image provided above the article. This is the logo that will appear on the display when you power on the phone, it seems. It may also be imprinted on the back of the device.

This logo has been leaked by ‘Mishaal Rahman’ on Twitter, along with the phone’s specifications. The source did not share the whole spec sheet, but he did share some info.

The Motorola Edge+ will have flagship specifications, as expected

According to Mr. Rahman, the Motorola Edge+ will have flagship specifications, which is to be expected. The first thing worth noting, is that it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865.

That is the most powerful processor Qualcomm has to offer at the moment, and it’s not surprising Motorola plans to utilize it. Many smartphone manufacturers will do the same in 2020.

The phone will, allegedly, feature a 6.67-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) display. That display will be curved, and it will offer 90Hz refresh rate.

The phone’s battery will be larger than 5,000mAh, notes the source. He suggests that a 5,170mAh battery may be included, but doesn’t seem to be sure.

The phone will also offer up to 12GB of RAM. This suggests that it will have more than one RAM option. It is possible that Motorola will offer both 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. We doubt that a 6GB RAM option will be available, but we’ll see.

We’re also hoping that the company plans to include LPDDR5 RAM, not LPDDR4X. The LPDDR5 module is the latest that is available, and the best one, so it would be nice to see it here. The same goes for UFS 3.1 flash storage.

This will be the company’s first flagship since the Moto Z3

We’re not entirely sure when will this phone become a reality. The device is expected to arrive in the near future, but it is not known when. It will be the first Motorola flagships since the Moto Z3, however.

The company took a hiatus when it comes to flagship-grade phones, and is expected to make a comeback with this device. The name of the phone had first been shared by Evan Blass, and the phone is also rumored to be exclusive to Verizon.

We’re not sure if that exclusivity will last, or will it be exclusive to Verizon for a short period of time, but there you go. It is also worth noting that the phone appeared on Geekbench a while back, confirming 12GB of RAM variant, and the Snapdragon 865.
