If you’re eagerly awaiting the launch of Baldur’s Gate 3 on Stadia, which is supposed to happen later this year, then you may already know the worldwide gameplay reveal is happening tomorrow.
It’ll be shown at PAX East 2020, but it’s also going to be streamed live on the Stadia YouTube channel. Which means you can watch it from home if you weren’t able to attend that event.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was of course unveiled as a Stadia game back before the launch. At that time, though, only a cinematic was shown alongside the official announcement. No actual gameplay footage has been shown off.
So tomorrow’s reveal will be the first time that Larian Studios gives players something to look forward to in this way.
The Baldur’s Gate 3 gameplay reveal on Stadia will happen at 12PM PST
Don’t want to miss the reveal happening tomorrow? Not to worry. You can watch it in the YouTube video below and you can even set up a reminder for it on the video page.
As for the timing it’ll be happening at 12PM PST/3PM EST, which is right in the middle of the day. So set your alarms and prepare for what will no doubt be an exciting moment for Stadia fans as well as fans of the Baldur’s Gate series.
This is the first game in the Baldur’s Gate series in quite some time. So expectations are likely high and excitement is right up there with it.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is not a Stadia exclusive
The game is not going to be a timed exclusive on Stadia like some of the other games coming to the platform. Or that have already, such as Spitlings which launched yesterday.
In fact the game might be available on PC before Stadia, as it has already been confirmed that it will hit PC via Steam early access sometime this year. It’s also entirely possible that the game will launch on Stadia at the same time.
But if the game will be available in an early access form, and that same build is released on Stadia, then that would mean that Stadia users are getting an early access version as well.
Basically this means players would want to temper their expectations about content that would be included. As early access games are still unfinished and are meant to be just that, early access, while features and more content are still being added.
If you’re looking forward to the game, make sure to check out the stream tomorrow for the gameplay reveal.
