Xiaomi has introduced its new flagships today, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. We’ve already talked about both of those phones in our announcement post, and it’s not time to take a look at the Mi 10 series specifications.
The two devices are almost identical on the outside
These two phones are almost identical on the outside, while they’re quite similar on the inside as well. Before we get to the Xiaomi Mi 10 series specifications, let’s just say that both phones are made out of metal and glass. Both devices include a hole in the display, and curved displays.
They both have four cameras on the back, but their camera setups are not identical. The do have the same main camera, though, a 108-megapixel unit.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 & Mi 10 Pro have really powerful specifications
As already mentioned, these two handsets are quite similar. Both phones include a 6.67-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) AMOLED display. That display has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, and it supports HDR10+ content. It also comes with 90Hz refresh rate, and it is protected by a sheet of Gorilla Glass 5.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 64-bit octa-core processor fuels both phones. On that chip, you’ll also find the Adreno 650 GPU for graphics rendering.
Both Mi 10 phones come in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. We’re looking at LPDDR5 here, by the way, the very latest RAM standard for smartphones. Both Mi 10 models include 256GB of RAM, while the Mi 10 Pro comes in both 256GB and 512GB storage flavors, which are coupled with 8GB and 12GB of RAM, respectively. It’s also worth noting that Xiaomi includes UFS 3.0 flash storage in both of these phones.
A 3.5mm headphone jack is included
Both devices come with two SIM card slots, both of those are nano SIM card slots. MicroSD storage expansion is not available on either phone, but both of them feature a 3.5mm headphone jack. Both phones also sport an infrared sensor.
Android 10 comes pre-installed on both devices, along with Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 skin. An in-display fingerprint scanner is included as well (optical one), and the same goes for Bluetooth 5.1. Both of these are 5G handsets, and we don’t know if 4G only variants will be available.
Both devices include four cameras. but considerably different setups. Both devices feature a 108-megapixel main camera (Samsung’s sensor, f/1.69 aperture, 0.8um pixel size, OIS, 7P lens on the Mi 10, 8P on the Mi 10 Pro).
That’s pretty much it as far as similarities are concerned. The Xiaomi Mi 10 has a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera (123-degree lens, f/2.4 aperture) on the back, which is accompanied by two 2-megapixel cameras. One of those cameras is a 2-megapixel unit (f/2.4 aperture), and that’s the phone’s dedicated macro camera. The other one is a depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, on the other hand, has a 20-megapixel camera with ultrawide lens (f/2.2 aperture, 117-degree angle lens, 6P lens). A 12-megapixel camera with portrait lens (f/2.0 aperture) is also included on the back of this phone, along with an 8-megapixel telephoto unit (10x hybrid zoom, OIS).
Both devices feature the same front-facing camera, a 20-megapixel unit. That’s the only information that we have on that camera.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro offers faster charging than its sibling
The Xiaomi Mi 10 comes with a 4,780mAh battery. That handset supports 30W fast wired charging (Quick Charge 4+ / PD 3.0), and fast wireless charging. 10W reverse wireless charging is also supported.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a 4,500mAH battery. That handset supports 50W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The two devices share the same dimensions, and weight. Both phones measure 162.6 x 74.8 x 8.96mm, and weigh 208 grams. The Mi 10 comes in Titanium Black, Ice Blue, and Peach Gold colors. The ‘Pro’ model has been announced in Starry Blue and Pearl White color options.
