Hulu + Live TV Arrives On PlayStation 4

Following the death of PlayStation Vue, Hulu + Live TV is now available on PlayStation 4.

This also follows YouTube TV launching on PlayStation 4 about a month ago. Giving PS4 users a few more options for watching live TV through their console. After Sony decided to shut down its own Live TV offering.

Hulu + Live TV costs $54.99 per month

Hulu + Live TV is the name of the service, and the reason for that is because it is Hulu, and then you add Live TV on top of it, hence the plus.

It will cost you $54.99 per month, which brings you over 65+ channels, as well as all of the sports you could want. These channels include all of your locals, as well as ABC’s brand new News channel. There’s also A&E, ACCN, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, FS1, FX, History, Oxygen, POP, USA and many more. Most of the major networks are available here, but like usual, the Viacom ones are still missing. You’ll need Philo for those – which is $20 per month.

While it’s not included in the price, you can still add on premium networks like HBO, Cinemax and STARZ. There are also add ones for additional screens and enhanced cloud DVR. By default, everyone gets 50 hours of cloud DVR. But you can upgrade to 200 for just $9.99 per month.

One of the few services with Fox Regional Sports Networks still

As we learned last week, Hulu + Live TV is one of the few streaming TV services that still has Fox Regional Sports Networks. YouTube TV was set to lose them on February 29, but it signed a temporary extension with Sinclair, so it’s still available for now, but who knows how long that will last.

So if you want to make sure that all of your favorite teams are available on your streaming service of choice, Hulu + Live TV is the route to go. And considering it is still pretty competitive at $55 per month, it’s not a bad option.

Let’s not forget that Hulu + Live TV comes with Hulu as well. Which features a huge catalog of TV shows and movies, so that the 200 hours of cloud DVR may not even be a big deal. Content from ABC, ESPN, NBC, FOX, and many other networks are available to stream on Hulu the next day.
