Detailed camera specifications of the OnePlus 8 Pro have just surfaced. This information comes from a well-known tipster, Ishan Agarwal, who partnered up with Pricebaba this time around.
According to the shared information, the OnePlus 8 Pro will feature two 48-megapixel cameras on the back, in addition to an 8-megapixel unit, and a 5-megapixel unit on the back.
That much we knew before this, as the phone’s specs surface. What we did not have, however, is more information regarding every single one of those cameras.

The main camera on this phone will be a 48-megapixel one from Sony. OnePlus will utilize Sony’s new IMX689 sensor, the same one that OPPO used on the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro.
That is actually quite a powerful sensor, with the right software, it can be excellent, as OPPO proved. That sensor will be hidden behind an f/1.89 aperture lens.
The second 48-megapixel sensor on the back will be the main sensor from the OnePlus 7 series, Sony’s IMX586 sensor. That sensor will be utilized as an ultra-wide camera on this smartphone. It will be placed behind an f/2.2 aperture lens, and offer a 120-degree angle view.
