Redmi K30 Pro Flagship Will Launch At The End Of This Month

You can expect the Redmi K30 Pro to launch at the end of this month. The company’s Product Director has just teased the arrival of the Redmi K30 Pro on Weibo.

He did not share any specific info, just reminded everyone of the timeline for its launch. Redmi did confirm that the phone will arrive in March, while the company’s General Manager, Lu Weibing, shared some more information recently.

He said that the Redmi K30 Pro launch will occur between the launches of the Huawei P40 series and the HONOR 30 series. So, the Huawei P40 will launch on March 26, as it was confirmed yesterday.

The HONOR 30 series, on the other hand, is coming in April, it seems. So, if the Redmi K30 Pro will launch in March, and after March 26, that leaves only four days for it to arrive.

Possible launch dates for the phone are March 27, 28, 30, or 31. We’re counting only work days, as the device will not arrive during the weekend, that’s for sure.

Redmi will confirm the exact launch date for its new flagship in the near future, that’s for sure. At this point, we can only wait for that to happen, but according to official information, it will be one of the four dates we’ve mentioned.

When Redmi confirmed that the K30 Pro is coming in March, it also confirmed its partial design. The company shared an image that showed the upper portion of the phone’s front side. That image confirmed that the device will not include a display notch, or hole.

In other words, the Redmi K30 Pro will follow in its predecessor’s footsteps, and include a pop-up camera, almost certainly. Redmi recently said that under-display cameras are not ready for primetime, so that is out of the question here.

The Redmi K30 got announced a while back, and it includes a pill-shaped display camera hole. Well, the Redmi K30 Pro wants to stand out, and will offer a much more appealing design.

We did not exactly see many phones with pop-up cameras announced in 2020. OEMs seem to prefer display camera holes this year, until under-display cameras become a thing. Pop-up cameras do allow OEMs to offer more eye-catching designs, though.

The Redmi K30 Pro will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865, and it will almost certainly be made out of metal and glass. The phone will include several cameras on the back, and a high refresh rate display.

An optical in-display fingerprint scanner will also be a part of the package. You can also expect this phone to offer plenty of RAM, and a large battery as well.
