LG Velvet Surfaces In Real-Life Images, Two Colors Shown

The LG Velvet has just appeared in real-life images. This handset will become official on May 7, even though LG already revealed almost all details. So, what happened? Well, its global event will take place on the said date, but LG announced almost everything via its Korea website a couple of days ago.

The company shared the phone’s design, specifications, and even some of its features via a press release. We’ll find out the rest on May 7, along with the phone’s price tag.

That being said, while we wait, you can check out the images below. These pictures will show you the device from both the front and the back. One of them even shows its internals.

These LG Velvet real-life images give us the best look at the phone yet

These real-life images have been shared via Twitter, and as you can see, the LG Velvet will be a narrow, and tall smartphone. The device will include really thin bezels, and a waterdrop display notch.

Its display will be curved, and so will its back side. The phone will sport the so-called ‘Raindrop’ camera design on the back. The top camera will be the largest, while the bottom one will be the smallest.

Speaking of which, the device will include three cameras on the back, and one on the front. 48, 8, and 5-megapixel cameras will sit on the back, backed by a 16-megapixel front-facing unit.

A 4,300mAh battery will also be included in the package, and it will support fast wired charging. 10W wireless charging will also be included in LG’s upcoming smartphone.

It is coming with a 6.8-inch display, 8GB of RAM, and Android 10

The device will feature a 6.8-inch fullHD+ OLED display, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Its storage will be expandable via a microSD card.

The Snapdragon 765G will fuel the device, and this is Qualcomm’s best mid-range processor. Android 10 will come pre-installed, along with LG’s custom UI. The phone will also offer two SIM card slots.

An in-display fingerprint scanner will be included, and we’re looking at an optical fingerprint scanner. LG will also include a 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers.

You’ll be able to take advantage of Bluetooth 5.1, an NFC chip, and a Type-C USB port. The phone will come in four color variants, at least in Korea.

Two of those color variants are shown down below, black and white ones. To be precise, those two colors will be called Aurora Gray and Aurora White. In addition to them, LG will also release Aurora Green and Illusion Sunset color options.
