Official OnePlus 8 Series Promo Videos Focus On Design & speed

OnePlus had introduced its new flagship smartphones yesterday. The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro got announced, and now you can check out the company’s official promo videos as well.

The company has released two promo videos for the two devices thus far, post-launch. Both of them will be linked below, along with a YouTube video of the launch event itself. The launch event lasted for almost an hour, in case you missed it yesterday.

The OnePlus 8 series promo videos focus on design and speed

These two OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro promo videos focus mostly on design and speed, but that’s not all. Both of them have a duration of about one minute.

The first video that got released is titled ‘Lead with Speed’, which is the official caption for the OnePlus 8 series launch. This video is focusing entirely on the OnePlus 8 Pro, and you can check it out below this paragraph.

In the video, you’ll see a bunch of people dancing, and showing off the OnePlus 8 Pro design at the same time. OnePlus also highlights a number of OnePlus 8 Pro features in this video.

The first feature is its display with 120Hz refresh rate. Another highlight is the phone’s ability to wirelessly charge. If it’s being charged by the company’s official charger, it can take advantage of 30W charging.

This is also the first OnePlus phone to offer wireless charging. You’ll also get to check out OnePlus’ official charger in this promo video.

Video-taking capabilities have been improved as well

The OnePlus 8 Pro video-taking capabilities are also highlighted here, as OnePlus worked a lot to improve that aspect of the device. That is also the last feature that the company talked about.

At the very end of the video, OnePlus is showing all three color variants of the OnePlus 8 Pro. Those variants are Glacial Green, Onyx Black, and Ultramarine Blue.

The second video is titled ‘No Detail is Too Small’, and it puts more focus on the design. The entire video is the design of the OnePlus 8 series. You’ll get to see some up-close-and-personal shots of both devices here.

The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are quite similar in terms of the design. The ‘Pro’ model is a bit bigger, and it includes an extra camera on the back, along with laser autofocus. That’s pretty much it, though, as far as differences are concerned.

Both phones support 5G, are fueled by the Snapdragon 865, and come with Android 10 and OxygenOS. The ‘Pro’ model is the only one to support LPDDR5 RAM, IP68 certification, wireless charging, and it also comes with a better main camera sensor. Read more about the differences here.
