OnePlus 8 Pro Appears In Real-Life Image Ahead Of Launch

The OnePlus 8 Pro has just surfaced in a real-life image. This image has been shared by Ishan Agarwal, a well-known tipster. He does note that it has originally been posted by a user called ‘Technology Ye Han’.

The OnePlus 8 Pro leaked quite a few times thus far in renders, so we knew what to expect. It’s a completely different thing seeing it in a real-life image, though.

The OnePlus 8 Pro real-life image leaks, though the phone is covered by a case

This phone seems to be placed in a silicone case, but still, this image is enough to re-confirm its design. Do note that this is a Chinese variant of the OnePlus 8 Pro, as it is running HydrogenOS, not OxygenOS.

The design of the two phones will be exactly the same, though. The only difference will be in their software, which is also more similar than ever before. HydrogenOS variants do not include Google services, though, so keep that in mind.

In any case, this image reveals that the phone will have extremely thin bezels. On top of that, it confirms that a display camera hole will be placed in the top-left corner of the display.

This real-life OnePlus 8 Pro image also shares some of the phone’s specifications. It confirms that the device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865 SoC.

It also confirms that one of the variants will include 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The OnePlus 8 Pro will also include a 6.78-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.

This image does not mention it, but that display will be QHD+ in resolution. Android 10 will come pre-installed on the phone, and on top of it you’ll get OxygenOS (HydrogenOS in China).

The last piece of detail that this image confirms has to do with cameras. The OnePlus 8 Pro will include four cameras on the back, two 48-megapixel units, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 5-megapixel one.

The OnePlus 8 series will become official tomorrow

The OnePlus 8 Pro will arrive alongside its sibling, the OnePlus 8. Both phones will become official tomorrow, on April 14. The company will announce them during an online-only event.

These two smartphones are not the only announcements we’re expecting, though. The company also plans to announce its very first wireless charger, and a new set of Bluetooth earphones.

An official screen protector for these two phones will also become official, along with a bunch of cases for the two smartphones. That is probably all the hardware that the company will announce.
