OnePlus 8 Series Goes On Sale April 29, Verizon Gets Exclusive Colors

The OnePlus 8 Series availability has been announced, and yes, it is going to be coming to Verizon.

This time around, it looks like both the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro will be coming to the US. It’ll be available on both T-Mobile and Verizon in the US. Which is actually a big deal, as OnePlus is now going to be available on the largest US carrier.

When will the OnePlus 8 be available for sale?

OnePlus says that the new 8 series will be available starting on April 29.

It’ll be sold on OnePlus.com, as well as Amazon’s website. And of course, T-Mobile and Verizon those same days.

If you happen to go to a pop-up event though, you can get the device before the April 29 launch date.

The OnePlus 8 is going to be priced at $699 and the OnePlus 8 Pro will be $899. Of course the 12GB/256GB models will be higher than that, these are the starting prices.

T-Mobile will be getting the Interstellar Glow and Onyx Black colors, while Verizon gets the exclusive Polar Silver and of course Onyx Black. T-Mobile and Verizon are getting the OnePlus 8 5G (and OnePlus 8 5G UW for Verizon). There’s no word on either carrier getting the OnePlus 8 Pro though.

OnePlus 8 Series comes with 120Hz displays and more

OnePlus smartphones have always been big on specs, and that’s still the case here. The OnePlus 8 Series is coming with 120Hz OLED displays, with FHD+ and QHD+ resolution respectively.

In addition to that, they are also coming with the Snapdragon 865 chipset and at least 8GB of RAM. With at least 128GB of storage. And considering the smaller OnePlus 8 starts at $699, that is a really good price for that phone. These also have Warp Charge 30T and Warp Charge 30 Wireless, which is going to make charging your new OnePlus phone faster, whether you are charging wirelessly or wired. The Warp Charge 30T charger is included in the box, but the wireless charger is not.

There is also a quad-camera setup on the back of the OnePlus 8 Pro, which the company is really touting as a pretty impressive camera setup. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see if that is true.

But you’ll be able to order your OnePlus 8 series smartphone in about two weeks time. It’s unclear whether there will be any shipping delays, but OnePlus didn’t indicate that there would be any, so there likely won’t be. Unless something unforeseen happens.
