[UPDATE: Not TWS After All] OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z TWS Earphones Coming "Very Soon"

UPDATE: It seems like the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z earphones won’t be TWS after all. Ishan Agarwal issued a correction to his previous post, after Max J. reached out to him. These will probably be successors to the Bullets V2 earphones, which probably means they will be attached one to the other, hence not TWS. Now it all fits, these will be launching alongside the OnePlus 8 series, it seems.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: It seems like OnePlus may announce its TWS earphones soon, and they will be called ‘OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z’. This information comes from Ishan Agarwal, who partnered up with 91mobiles.

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z TWS earphones are coming “very soon”, tipster claims

The tipster did not say when the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z earphones will see the light of day, but he said “very soon”. Now, pretty much everyone would assume that they’ll launch alongside the OnePlus 8 series on April 14.

That may not be the case, though. Max J., a well-known tipster, suggested that it won’t happen. He tweeted that out in a response to one of his Twitter followers.

The OnePlus 8 series launch event is the only press conference that OnePlus is preparing in the near future. So… will it host a separate press conference of these earbuds? Well, no, that’s not likely.

Truth be said, launching such earbuds alongside its upcoming flagships makes all the sense in the world. Max J. is usually always spot on, so we’ll see what will happen.

OnePlus’ upcoming TWS earbuds still did not leak out. So, we don’t really have much information about them. We can only guess what we’ll get.

What does truly wireless means, in terms of earphones? Well, it means they won’t be connected with each other, via a cable. It also means that they will ship with a charging case, same as all the other TWS earphones out there.

Their design is still a mystery

We don’t really know what to expect in the design department. It remains to be seen what design will OnePlus opt for, but chances are these earbuds won’t look like first or second-gen Apple AirPods.

You can expect these earphones to charge up really fast, and the same goes for their charging case. It will be interesting to see whether the charging case will support wireless charging, or only wired charging.

The OnePlus 8 Pro is rumored to support wireless charging, and that will become the first OnePlus phone to offer such functionality. That gives us hope that these earbuds will also support wireless charging.

OnePlus had introduced two wireless headphone products thus far, the Bullets and Bullets V2. Both of those are quite compelling, but they’re not fully wireless. They’re connected with each other via a cable.

Consumers have been requesting TWS earbuds from OnePlus for quite some time now, and it seems like the company is finally ready to deliver.
