Razer Is Launching A Pikachu Version Of Its True Wireless Earbuds

Razer is coming out with a Pikachu model of its Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds, and the charging case is a Poké Ball.

If you’ve seen the standard true wireless earbuds that Razer makes, then you’re familiar with the fact that they come in a small pill-shaped case that features the signature matte black color that Razer uses for almost all of its products.

Razer does from time to time make versions of those products that feature some sort of collaboration. And this would be the most recent one, partnering up The Pokémon Company.

The Razer Pikachu true wireless earbuds will only be available in China

According to a report from engadget the earbuds will only be released in China. Which means it’s going to be next to impossible for most people who live outside of China to get a hold of a pair once they officially launch.

If you really want a pair you might be able to find a way to acquire one. But they won’t officially be sold in any stores or at any online retailers in other countries.

So picking them up means you will literally have to physically pick them up in China or have them shipped to you from someone who lives there and can make the purchase on your behalf.

There’s also a possibility that these could end up on eBay, but if that does happen they will probably be a lot more expensive than their normal retail cost. Which is supposed to be 849 Yuan, which is right around $120. $20 more than the normal pair that comes in black.

It’s all about the Poké Ball case

The Poké Ball case is likely going to be the big draw for many here. Because it’s so different from the style of the original case.

If you’re a huge fan of Pokémon then is there really any other way to store your wireless earbuds? Given the option? Only you can answer that, but the case really is the most unique part about the earbuds. The earbuds themselves aren’t shaped any differently.

They do however come in yellow instead of black and the icon on the touch pad is a small icon of Pikachu instead of the Razer logo. So overall the earbuds fit the theme too. But they don’t stand out as much as the charging case.

While you can’t really get these outside of China, you can find the normal Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds on Amazon for $100.
