Galaxy Note 20+ Will Include A Periscope Camera: Leak

It seems like the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ will include a periscope camera on the back. This information has been shared by a leaked image, which shows the phone’s camera module.

The Galaxy Note 20+ will include a periscope camera, it seems

Well, the leaked image does not exactly show the finished product, but rather the mold for the camera module. As you can see in the provided image, the periscope camera will be included on the Galaxy Note 20+, as it’s located on that mold.

This leak comes from the ‘Camie Ngo’ Twitter handle. We would not pay that much attention to it if it were not shared by Ice Universe, a well-known tipster. He shared the image along with the “Note 20+ Yes!” caption.

He obviously seems to suggest that this is the camera module for the Galaxy Note 20+. In any case, this gives the leak far more credibility. This leak reveals not only that the device will have a periscope camera, but several other camera sensors.

It will have at least two other camera sensors, maybe even three additional ones. All we can see here are the cutouts, so the best we can do is guess at this point.

It could include two additional cameras, and a sensor that will help the camera performance, focusing or something of the sort. On the flip side, that last hole may also be reserved for a camera.

An LED flash cutout is also present here, as is a microphone cutout. The Galaxy Note 20+ could end up including three cameras, and a ToF sensor, so that would technically mean four camera sensors.

Now, the Galaxy Note 20 series is rumored not to include the 100x Space Zoom feature from the Galaxy S20 Ultra. In other words, you will not be able to use that periscope camera for 100x zoom.

A 108-megapixel main sensor will be included on the back of the device

The Galaxy Note 20 series is expected to include a 108-megapixel HM1 ISOCELL camera on the back, same as the Galaxy S20 Ultra. That will probably be the phone’s main camera sensor.

Samsung will announce two Galaxy Note devices in August, the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20+. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is not in the company’s plans, it seems.

The regular Galaxy Note 20 will allegedly feature a fullHD+ 60Hz LTPS display. The Galaxy Note 20+ will pack in a more advanced QHD+ 120Hz LTPO panel. Its display will also be larger, while both will probably be slightly curved.

In addition to those two smartphones, Samsung is also expected to announce the Galaxy Fold 2. That handset will, allegedly, also ship with the S Pen stylus, unlike its predecessor.
