ORIGINAL ARTICLE: According to a new rumor, OnePlus is getting ready to launch its first pair of TWS earphones in July. As most of you probably already know, TWS stands for True Wireless or Truly Wireless, it goes either way.
OnePlus had announced a new pair of wireless earbuds along with the OnePlus 8 series of devices, but they’re not TWS earbuds. Consumers have been waiting for a pair of these for a long time, and it seems like OnePlus will deliver.

This information comes from Max J., a well-known tipster. He was the one who revealed that the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z earphones are coming along with the OnePlus 8 series. He also revealed various other information related to OnePlus.

Max J. is usually quite accurate, and that makes us think that this info is accurate. He did note, however, that he got the information from a seemingly reliable source. In addition to that, he noted that you should take this info with a grain of salt.
Now, the source did also share an image of TWS earbuds, but that image is probably just for illustration purposes. These TWS earbuds look a lot like the first and second-gen Apple AirPods.
TWS earbuds from OnePlus will probably look considerably different once they launch, hopefully in July. Now, if July sounds familiar when it comes to OnePlus products, there’s a good reason for that.
Max J. was also the one who revealed that the OnePlus Z is coming in July. That will become OnePlus’ new mid-range smartphone. A spiritual successor to the OnePlus X.
OnePlus may launch its first TWS earphones along with the OnePlus Z
The OnePlus Z had leaked a number of times thus far, and it seems like it will be launching at the same time as these TWS earphones. We still do not know the exact date, but that will probably leak in the near future as well.
OnePlus’ TWS earbuds will ship with a charging case, of course, but we still don’t know what to expect in terms of the design. We don’t know if they’ll be open-ear TWs earbuds, or not. We also don’t know anything about the design at this point.
It’s safe to assume that the charging case will support wireless charging, though. It’s also safe to assume that these TWS earbuds will feature ANC (Active Noise Canceling).
It will be interesting to see how much will these cost. OnePlus’ accessories are not exactly cheap, so don’t expect these to be more affordable than other quality TWS earphones on the market.
We’re hoping that the design of these earbuds will surface in the coming weeks, though we’re still about two months away from their announcement. So, it may take a while.
