The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition coming soon with rather compelling specs. The device got certified in China, prior to its launch, and that certification revealed quite a few details.
This handset will basically become a new variant of the Realme X50 Pro 5G which got announced in February. That device is basically the company’s flagship, so this ‘Player Edition’ will take that very same place.

The device got certified over at TENAA, and it carries the ‘RMX2072’ modem number. This device is expected to be cheaper than the Realme X50 Pro 5G, by the way.
Based on the images released by TENAA, the device will look the same as the Realme X50 Pro 5G, though. It will be made out of metal and glass, with four cameras on the back.
The device will include really thin bezels, and a display camera hole in the top-left corner. That will be a pill-shaped hole, and it will host two cameras, it seems. The bottom bezel will be a hair thicker than the rest.
Based on the TENAA listing, the phone will feature a 6.4-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display. That will be a 90Hz display, and it will support HDR10+, by the way. Gorilla Glass 5 will protect it.
The company already confirmed that the device will come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Based on TENAA info, you can expect to see 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM variants, along with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage, respectively.
Android 10 comes pre-installed on the device, with Realme UI on top of it. Two SIM card slots are included in this package, along with Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. A Type-C USB port will be placed on the bottom as well.
This handset is expected to support 5G as well, as it has the Snapdragon 865 SoC. It will also support dual 4G VoLTE, and Wi-Fi 6 is also expected to be included. The device will come with two stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos support.
The phone will include a 48-megapixel main camera, and is coming on May 25
A 48-megapixel camera will be included on the back, as the device’s main camera. In addition to that, you’ll also get an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and two 2-megapixel units. Those two 2-megapixel cameras will be the phone’s macro and depth units.
A 16-megapixel main selfie camera will be backed by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner as well, an optical one.
The phone is expected to come in Green, Red, and Silver color variants. The phone will launch on May 25, along with 7 other new products from the company.
