Samsung Galaxy Buds Live & Galaxy Watch 3 To Launch in July

The Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Watch 3 are set to launch in July as reported by SamMobile. Given how many products Samsung are going to launch in the back end of 2020 many assumed they would all come at the Samsung Unpacked event in August.

However, that appears not to be the case. The Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Watch 3 look as if they will be announced sometime in July.

The other products such as the Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Tab S7 will still launch at the August event. The Unpacked event is reportedly to take place on August 5 but this has not been confirmed as of yet.

What do we know about the Galaxy Watch 3 & Buds Live

These two new wearable products from Samsung are still somewhat of an unknown in many ways.

The name and leaked specifications of Galaxy Watch 3 were recently reported. This showed that the watch will be available in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm. It will also be available with aluminium, stainless steel and a premium titanium casing options.

The Galaxy Watch 3 may also bring back one of the fan favorite features that has not been seen for some time. The new wearable is likely to feature a physical rotating bezel which will help users navigate the UI.

The naming of the wearable the Galaxy Watch 3 has raised eyebrows given a Galaxy Watch 2 has not been released. However, rumors suggest that as the Galaxy Watch Active 2 has been released. Samsung did not want the new product to be seen as it equal or inferior.

The bean-shaped buds were originally rumored to be called the Galaxy Buds X. However, the trademarks Samsung filed for this name appear to have been abandoned.

Reports expect the Galaxy Buds Live sell at a discount packaged in with some of its other new offerings. It may also be a free pre-order bonus with these two new products but this is unclear as of yet. It is likely to retail below $150 when it sells as an independent product.

This would be very impressive given it may still support Active Noise Cancellation. This would allow Samsung to considerably undercut Apple’s AirPods by a considerable margin. There are currently no substantial rumors circulating the pricing of the Galaxy Watch 3, so we’ll have to wait for it to launch.

This announcement appears to be a sensible approach from Samsung.
