AT&T has started rolling out the July 2020 security patch for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone. Notably, the update is live for the AT&T Galaxy Note 9 since July 27. As far as the changelog is concerned, it brings along some camera feature enhancements, along with some stability fixes and enhancements. This latest AT&T Galaxy Note 9 update is based on Android 10. The phone has already grabbed the Android 10 update back in February with build number DTC4.
As per the official AT&T website, there is not much clarity as to what this new update brings for the camera. Note that previously, the AT&T Galaxy Note 9 was running on build number DTD6. However, this update bumps the build number from N960USQS4DTD6 to N960USQU4ETG1. The size of the update is 1GB. So, we would recommend AT&T Galaxy Note 9 users to download this update over a stable WiFi connection to avoid any issues while downloading.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was launched back in 2018 and it came with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. This means that the phone has already received its two major OS updates, the last being the Android 10 One UI 2.0 update. However, the phone will continue to receive the latest security patches.

Besides, the update is rolling out via OTA and will arrive in a staggered manner. So, if you have not yet received the update on your phone, then you can head over to Settings>>Software update>>Download and install. And if there is a new update available for your phone, then tap on the notification to grab the update package.
