Galaxy Note 20 Owners Can Get Original S Pen Replacement For $40

The new Galaxy Note 20 smartphones work pretty much like the earlier launched Galaxy S20 smartphones. However, the S Pen makes the Samsung Galaxy Note series a completely distinguishable product in the smartphone market. If you are worried about losing the S Pen, Samsung got you covered as it now offers the Galaxy Note 20 S Pen replacement for just $40.

As of now, the S Pen listing on Samsung’s official website only shows them as “Coming Soon.” There will also be many third-party options at a much lower price. Though these are advertised to work just like original S Pen, they will surely miss out on most of the S Pen features.

Original Galaxy Note 20 S Pen replacement to cost $40 in the US

Even if the S Pen is not lost, you can get other colors of the S Pen for a funky look. The original S Pen replacement from Samsung comes in Black, Green, White, Copper, and Gray color options. It comes with the model number EJ-PN980BBEGUS and is compatible with both the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones.

Meanwhile, make a note that the Galaxy Note 20’s S Pen can’t be used with the previously launched Galaxy Note smartphones. The replacement S Pen comes in handy in markets like India. Samsung no longer provides the replacement tips & tweezers with the Galaxy Note 20 Indian retail units.

Samsung also introduced five new Air Gestures

In the US, the company is proving the replacement tips & tweezers but removed the AKG-tuned wired earbuds. However, the user can get them as complimentary by contacting customer support.

With the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and its 120Hz display, the new-gen S Pen can offer a real pen-like feel as it comes with just 9ms of latency. Even the 26ms of latency on the standard Galaxy Note 20 with 60Hz display is not that bad.

The Galaxy Note 20 users can play/pause videos or capture a photo using the S Pen. Samsung also added five new Air Gestures with the Galaxy Note 20 smartphones. The users can swing right and back to go to recents app or up and down to go to Home.

To get the Smart select menu, just swing the S Pen down and up. A simple shake of the S Pen will take a screenshot and makes it ready to doodle or crop. Also, the handwritten content will automatically straighten in the Samsung Notes app. These new S Pen changes are also applicable to the new Galaxy Tab S7 tablets.
