Here Are The Three Video Ads Featuring Google Pixel 4a

Google on Monday launched the budget Pixel 4a smartphone priced at $349. Right after the launch, the company posted three video ads featuring the all-new Pixel 4a on Youtube.

The Pixel 4a offers excellent value for its $349 price tag. Each of the three videos reveals a unique aspect of the new Pixel smartphone. The very first Pixel 4a video posted on the “Made by Google” Youtube channel also features the American actor and comedian, Fred Armisen.

Pixel 4a video ads showing its capabilities

Much of the focus is on showcasing the portrait mode capabilities of the Pixel 4a smartphone. However, there is only a single 12.2MP camera on the rear. Thanks to its computational imaging technology, the Pixel 4a does a much better job than smartphones that use a dedicated depth sensor.

Unfortunately, the camera app applies a 2x crop in portrait mode to provide superior output. The second video talks about battery life, Google Duo video calling, security, Night Sight with astrophotography mode, and finally, its cheaper price tag.

The final video is all about the Pixel 4a’s design and its single “Just Black” color option. Moreover, the power button on this device comes in Mint Green color. The square-shaped camera module on the rear houses the single rear camera and the LED flash. On the front, it sports a 5.8-inch OLED display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

As for the other details, the Pixel 4a comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G Mobile Platform and also includes the Titan M security chip. It is also available only in a single storage option — 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.

Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 confirmed to launch later this year

The 8MP selfie camera on the front comes with an 84-degree field-of-view and f/2.0 aperture. Interestingly, the device comes with Android 10 out of the box. The new Android 11 might debut with the upcoming Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 smartphones.

Additionally, there is even a 3.5mm audio jack for connecting wired headsets. The Pixel 4a is backed by a 3,140mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging via its USB Type-C port. It is currently available for pre-order and will go on sale from August 20. Coming to the Indian market, the Pixel 4a smartphone won’t be launching until October.

Apart from the Pixel 4a 5G’s price tag of $499, there isn’t much information available about these upcoming Pixel devices.
