Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Pre-Orders Start Tonight!

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, even after many leaks, there were still a few surprises.

One thing that didn’t leak, but we expected, was pre-orders starting tonight. Samsung says pre-orders will start at 12:01AM ET on August 6, for both models. With both of them being on sale starting August 21. They will be available from the usual suspects: Samsung.com, Best Buy, Amazon, T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon in the US. So you can buy it unlocked or from your carrier.

They are going on sale rather quickly after the announcement, unlike some of their competitors that announce a phone and it doesn’t go on sale for at least a month. Samsung is wasting no time here. And Samsung is likely trying to beat Apple and the iPhone, like they attempt to do every year – and the iPhone is going to be delayed this year.

The Galaxy Note 20 is going to start at $999 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage model. While the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be $1299 for the 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage model. There is also a 512GB model, but Samsung has not yet released pricing on that particular model.

Samsung is going to offer the Galaxy Note 20 in Mystic Gray, Mystic Green and Mystic Bronze. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is going to be available in Mystic White, Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze. It’s also worth noting that all of the products Samsung announced today at Unpacked, will be available in Mystic Bronze.

Are there any special offers for pre-orderers?

If you pre-order either the Galaxy Note 20 or the Note 20 Ultra, Samsung does have something special for you.

Those that pre-order the Galaxy Note 20 are going to get a $100 gift card to Samsung.com. And those that pre-order the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will get a $150 gift card to Samsung.com.

That is actually a really good special for those that do pre-order, as you can buy whatever you want from Samsung.com. Whether that’s a case for your new smartphone, or the new Galaxy Buds Live, or even put it towards Samsung’s new tablet. You get to choose what you buy, and not whatever Samsung decides to give you for free.

The carriers will likely offer up some specials too, like a Buy One, Get One Half Off, that most carriers usually do with Samsung devices. They have not yet announced their specials, but we will of course keep you apprised when they do.
