Tasker is the best apps when it comes to automation apps on Android. Yesterday, we came up with a report, highlighting Tap, Tap and Tasker app developer’s collaboration. This will allow Tap, Tap users to trigger any Tasker event by double-tapping the back of the Android phone. And now, a new update is live for the app as that brings tons of new features with Tasker 5.9.3.
Tasker lets you create a profile that stores all your automated tasks based on certain conditions. Moreover, the app allows the user to create automated tasks using a wide variety of plugins on an Android device. Besides, Tasker developers are always on their heels to roll out new features and app updates for the app. And finally, some of the beta channel features along with new features are available for the users in the new version of Tasker.
As per the official post, the new update brings features like WhatsApp call automation, full Do Not Disturb customization, sensor actions, unlimited number of variables, trigger any task via links, and much more. Tasker 5.9.3 adds new features like full Do Not Disturb control, contact via an app, and more
The app introduces new features, i.e. Any Sensor, Test Sensor, and Sensor Info. The Any Sensor event allows you to take advantage of any of the sensors present on your phone. This is one of the beta features that Tasker developers were testing in the beta channel. Apparently, users will be able to scan all the sensors in your device and automate tasks based on that. The Test Sensor action will give you the current values of your phone’s sensor to help you use them in automated tasks. Sensor Info, as the name suggests, will give you all the information related to the sensors.
Another interesting feature debuting with this new Tasker 5.9.3 update is, contact via a third-party app. This feature is pretty neat and allows you to either send text messages or make a call using an app like Telegram, WhatsApp, etc. Do Not Disturb control is full-fledge now under your control. Tasker 5.9.3 gives you the freedom to tweak any Do Not Disturb settings and customize tasks within the app. You can now even send unlimited variables to a task and receive unlimited in return as well.
One of the convenient features, which the Tasker users would like to have, is the trigger Tasker via links option. Basically, this gives the option to trigger any Tasker event simply by opening a compatible URL. Meanwhile, if you are interested in trying out all the new features, you can head here to download the app.
