Neato Robotics has just announced its newest trio of premium robot vacuums, the Neato D8, D9 and D10.
These robot vacuums come with the same features you’d expect from Neato. That includes best-in-class technology, easy setup and hardware that is built-t0-last.
According to Neato CEO Thomas Nedder, they “combined Neato’s 15-years of experience in this industry with customer feedback and the latest innovations in robotics and AI technology, and we’re thrilled to introduce these amazing new products – our best ever – to the world.”
With this latest release, Neato is launching the first ever robot vacuum with a true HEPA filter, on the D10. Which is going to capture 99.97% of allergens and particles like dust and dander, as small as 0.3 microns. Neato also made setup evey easier, with a Bluetooth connection to WiFi and a more streamlined setup process. It’s not only six steps in the MyNeato app. Which is now the shortest in the industry. And speaking from experience, some of these setup experiences can be quite long.
What are the differences between the Neato D8, D9 and D10?
The Neato D8 is basically its lower-end of the three premium robot vacuums. It comes with an extra large dust bin, an extra wide brush and the latest LaserSmart technology. It also offers up a runtime of 90 minutes and of course, improved cleaning effectiveness.
Meanwhile the D9 will do the dirty work for you. With an Ultra-Performance HEPA-style filter that will capture around 99.5% of dust and allergens. It has a slightly longer runtime, compared to the D8, at 120 minutes. Laser Smart Technology is also here still.
Finally, the Neato D10 is the most premium of the bunch, and the only one to offer a True HEPA filter – you’ll notice the D9 features a “HEPA-Style” filter. As mentioned, this will pick up 99.97% of allergens and dust. It also has Neato’s LaserSmart LIDAR-based technology, and has ultra-performance for the best possible cleaning experience. The Neato D10 also can clean for up to 150 minutes on a single charge, which is quite long. As most others in the industry are around 120 minutes.
Neato has not given us any pricing on these new robot vacuums. But has said that they will be available in the fall, in North America, Europe and Japan. They’ll be available from Neato’s website, as well as other retailers like Amazon and Best Buy. Technically, the fall starts on September 22, so we should hear about pricing very soon.
