The Ulefone Armor 9 is one of the company’s newest rugged smartphones, and it just passed a series of rather brutal durability tests. Well, there were several tests included in the video that we’re here to talk about.
Ulefone published a new video on YouTube, and it has a duration of about three minutes. The company managed to squeeze quite a few tests inside.
The Ulefone Armor 9 durability tests include an electric drill, concrete, walnuts, and more
The very first test includes an electric drill, and the phone itself. The phone is placed on a scale, and then the drill is placed on top of its display. The display managed to stay in perfect condition, it seems.
The second test actually includes two Armor 9 phones. On top of the bottom one, the company’s employee placed two walnuts. With the other, it decided to crack those walnuts. Both phones remained undamaged.
In the third test, the Armor 9 is used instead of a hammer to crack a bunch of walnuts, which are on top of a table. The company’s employee really didn’t hold back on this one.
The fourth test is quite interesting, as it includes a phone, and a ton of water. The phone is placed 1.5m below the surface, and then taken out thirty minutes later. The phone did great in this test as well.
The company proceeded with a drop test. The first one includes a bunch of concrete stairs. And the phone passed this test with flying colors as well.
The next test sees the phone in a puddle of dirty water, and it gets run over by a car, several times. The Armor 9 managed to survive that as well. This was the last test, actually.
Ulefone really decided to torture-test the Armor 9 in this video, and the phone passed all those tests with flying colors, pretty much. The Armor 9 seems to be a really durable phone, and its internals are not bad either.
This phone includes a huge battery, and a thermal imaging camera
This handset comes with a thermal imaging camera, though the Armor 9E variant does not include it. The phone also has a huge 6,600mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner.
It features a 6.3-inch fullHD+ display, with a waterdrop notch. The MediaTek Helio P90 64-bit octa-core processor fuels the device, while it is helped by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
A 64-megapixel main camera is also a part of this package, as is Android 10. The phone also supports an endoscope camera, which is not something you see on many devices.
The Ulefone Armor 9 is now priced at $429.99. This is its discounted price tag, and it expires on September 27. You can get the device from Banggod as we speak. The company actually discounted several other devices.
