The Ulefone Armor 9E is now available to purchase. The device is priced at $329.99, and it is the company’s new flagship smartphone. This phone is actually an alternative to the Armor 9, another flagship device from the company.
The Ulefone Armor 9 became available to purchase earlier this year. That handset comes with the thermal imaging camera. Considering that many users don’t need that functionality, Ulefone decided to release the Armor 9E.
The Ulefone Armor 9E comes with a tweaked rear camera setup
The Ulefone Armor 9E comes with a tweaked camera setup on the back. That is the biggest change between the two devices, in fact. That thermal imaging camera has been replaced by a wide-angle camera.
Ulefone decided to include an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera here. In addition to that, you’ll find a 64-megapixel camera on the back, which is the phone’s main unit.
Two 2-megapixel sensors are also placed on the back as well. The device incorporates three rear-facing cameras in total, while a single camera is placed on its front side.
The rest of its specs are basically identical to the Ulefone Armor 9 specs. The phone is fueled by the MediaTek Helio P90 64-bit octa-core processor. It also includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
A 6.3-inch fullHD+ display is a part of the package, as is a 6,600mAh battery. That is a fairly large battery, needless to say, and considering other specs on the device, it should provide you with plenty of battery life.
18W fast charging is supported for this huge battery
You can utilize 18W fast wired charging on this device as well. That will certainly help replenish this behemoth of a battery. Ulefone also included NFC here.
The Ulefone Armor 9E does offer certification for water and dust resistance (IP68/IP69K), while it is also MIL-STD-810G certified. This is one tough phone, which is not surprising considering it’s a rugged device.
The phone does include a waterdrop display notch, and a frame made out of metal. Its back is less slippery than you’d think, while there’s a huge LED flash sensor on the back of the phone.
This device, much like the Ulefone Armor 9, does support the endoscope camera. That is also a feature that may not be required by many people, but it’s there if you need it.
The Ulefone Armor 9E is available via Banggood for $329.99, which is a discounted price tag. The company also says that the first 100 buyers will get a free protective case. The offer will expire on September 9.
