Ulefone has announced a new smartphone, the Armor X5 Pro. That is a rugged smartphone, as are all other handsets from the company’s ‘Armor’ lineup of devices. This is also a budget phone.
This is essentially an upgraded variant of the Ulefone Armor X5. The main upgrade comes in form of RAM and storage. The Ulefone Armor X5 Pro includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The device is fueled by the MediaTek Helio A25 octa-core SoC, and it ships with Android 10 out of the box. The phone features a 5.5-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display, with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The Ulefone Armor X5 Pro features 13 and 2-megapixel cameras on its back, while a single 5-megapixel camera is included on its front side. A large battery is also included in this package.
The Armor X5 Pro sports a 5,000mAh battery, while it also comes with an NFC chip, and Google Pay Support. 4G LTE connectivity is enabled on this device, as it supports dual 4G with VoLTE.
The phone is IP68/IP69K certified for water and dust resistance, and it even includes a custom key on the left side. Facial scanning is also supported via the phone’s selfie camera.
The phone comes with a number of useful tools, such as a compass, flashlights, hanging painting, height meter, magnifier, and so on. There are quite a few tools included in the software.
The phone is also MIL-STD-810G certified, which means it can take a hit. Ulefone performed a number of durability tests on the device, while the phone is also drop resistant.
Its design reveals its rugged nature
This smartphone does look like a rugged phone, that’s hard to deny. That doesn’t mean it’s not a nice-looking device, though. Rugged phones have come a long way when it comes to the design.
As you can see, the device’s bezels are not too thick, while it does not include a display camera hole, or notch. Its power / lock button is placed on the right, while the volume up and down buttons sit on the left.
The Armor X5 Pro comes in several different color options. Ulefone is offering this device in Black, Orange, and Red colors. The phone is already available for purchase via Banggood, by the way. It is also quite affordable, as it’s priced at $119.99.
