The OnePlus 8T Is Now Available For $749

After being announced last week, you can now buy the OnePlus 8T  for only $749.

In the US, the OnePlus 8T is available in one variant. Which includes 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Outside of the US, there is a 8GB/128GB model available. It also comes in Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver.

At $749, it puts the OnePlus 8T in a rather interesting price point. It’s $50 cheaper than the iPhone 12, but also $50 more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and the Google Pixel 5. Both of which are very competitive with the OnePlus 8T. However, if you are looking at the spec sheet, the OnePlus 8T wins out.

An incredible spec sheet, for the price

At $749, you are getting a 6.55-inch FHD+ 120Hz display on the OnePlus 8T. It is also powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is no micro SD card slot available here. That’s powered by a pretty massive 4500mAh capacity battery, that will keep it going all day long and then some.

There is a quad-camera setup on the back. With a 48-megapixel main sensor at f/1.7. That is paired with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 5-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Which effectively puts this camera setup in between the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, both launched earlier this year.

With the OnePlus 8T, perhaps the best feature is the charging. We’re looking at 65W charging, which can effectively take the OnePlus 8T’s 4500mAh battery from zero to 100% in about 40 minutes. Now that, is really insane. But there’s no wireless charging available on the OnePlus 8T. For some, that might be a disadvantage for the OnePlus 8T, but most would take the faster wired charging over wireless charging. Especially since it likely meant a lower price on the OnePlus 8T. The OnePlus 8T is a great phone to buy at this price point.
