Epson has launched three new laser projectors under its EpiqVision lineup. The EpiqVision Ultra LS300 is the top of the line ultra-short-throw projector. It also launched two smaller and affordable models called EpiqVision Mini EF12 and EpiqVision Mini EF11.
Speaking of the EpiqVision Ultra LS300, it is a stripped-down variant of the recently launched Ultra LS500 model. Moreover, this budget ultra-short-throw projector has a native resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and can project images up to 120-inches across.

It uses the advanced 3LCD technology to display 100 percent of the RGB color signal without any rainbowing or color brightness issues. The projector also comes equipped with a custom-designed 2.1 speaker setup from Yamaha.
Epson even claims this audio system will rival dedicated high-end audio systems. Without testing, no one can confirm how does that claim hold up in real world use. The projector can also be used as a standalone speaker by connecting via Bluetooth.
It also comes loaded with Android TV to access most of the streaming content without any third-party accessories. With Chromecast built-in, users can also cast wirelessly from their smartphones and computers. Epson is also bundling in a voice search remote with Google Assistant support.
The lack of smart features on Mini EF11 makes it the most portable projector
While the EpiqVision Mini EF12 carries the same Yamaha audio system and smart features as the Ultra LS300, it comes in a smaller form factor and uses the company’s own MicroLaser multi-array technology. It can project images up to 150-inches in Full HD resolution.
On the other hand, the EpiqVision Mini EF11 misses out on the smart features. It also features a dual-speaker audio system instead of the Yamaha 2.1 audio system. However, it comes with an HDMI port for connecting any streaming device like Roku or Amazon FireTV stick.
The lack of a high-quality audio system and smart features also makes the Mini EF11 the most compact projector out of the three. All the three newly launched EpiqVision projectors are backed by two years of warranty. The projectors also feature advanced scene adaptive color correction to automatically offer better colors based on the scene.
Coming to the pricing, the Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS300 will set you back by $1,999. It will be available starting next month in White and Black color options. The Epson EpiqVision Mini EF12 and Mini EF11 are priced at $999 and $799 respectively.
