OxygenOS 10.5.9 For OnePlus Nord Adds Game Space & October Security Patch

Today, OnePlus has announced via its official support forums that a new OxygenOS 10.5.9 update is rolling out for the OnePlus Nord. Notably, it brings Game Space and October 2020 security patch.

We all know how OnePlus managed to create a name of its own in the smartphone market in the software update category. In fact, it is one of the brands that are reliable and pushes timely updates for their smartphones.

However, it was a bit late in rolling the September 2020 security update for the OnePlus Nord. For the unaware, the September security patch arrived right at the beginning of this month.

Good thing is that the October security update didn’t take much time and is arriving just a few days before the beginning of November month.

Moreover, the update is pretty beefy and packs some new features like Game Space, quick reply feature, mis-touch prevention feature, etc.

Note that the update is based on Android 10. OnePlus Nord is expected to get updated to Android 11 somewhere between late 2020 and early 2021.
