Images Suggest Galaxy S21 Will Offer A Familiar "Cyclops" Design

A new leak has seemingly revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 will feature a rather familiar “cyclops” design. According to the provided information, the Galaxy S21 will feature a display camera hole, just like its predecessor.

Now, do note that this information comes from a new leak from a blogger called @MayurGhadiya6 on Twitter. This is not our usual source of leaks, so do take this information with a grain of salt.

Real-life images seemingly reveal the Galaxy S21 will stick to “cyclops” design

In any case, he has shared several real-life images of the alleged Galaxy S21 display. Those images show the phone’s display, though we cannot prove this is the Galaxy S21, of course.

The display camera hole is centered at the top of the display, just like on the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series handsets. These images do reveal that the display corners will be rounded, quite a bit, in fact.

You can also see some camera options in these images, for both the phone’s front and rear-facing cameras. The tipster also suggested that this is the vanilla Galaxy S21.

These images do reveal that the phone will support 8K video recording at 30 fps. The Galaxy S20, in comparison, supported 8K recording at 24 fps.

This device is expected to launch in Q1 next year

That is pretty much all the information that has been revealed. The Galaxy S21 is not expected to arrive until Q1 next year. The phone will probably launch in February or March, along with the Galaxy S21+ and S21 Ultra.

Some rumors suggested that the Galaxy S21 series will include an under-display camera. Those rumors were quickly overpowered by several new ones, claiming that Samsung will retain a display camera hole.

The Galaxy S21 series will likely retain a similar design to the Galaxy S20 generally speaking. You can once again expect Samsung to combine metal and glass, though it remains to be seen if it will use curved displays. More information will surface in the coming weeks / months.
