The Ulefone Armor X8 is now available to pre-order. You can get the device from AliExpress, if you’re interested. The phone is priced at only $119.99 at the moment, it’s heavily discounted. The pre-sale will end on October 14 (end of day).
This device got announced quite recently. It is a part of the company’s ‘Armor’ lineup of devices. In other words, this is a rugged smartphone. Its bezels are not exactly thin, but that is to be expected.
The device offers reinforced sides, and back, while its sides are also raised to protect the display. There are three cameras included on the back of this phone, along with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
The phone is IP68/IP69K certified for water and dust resistance. It comes with Android 10 out of the box, and it also includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The phone includes a 5.7-inch HD+ display, while it also sports a really large battery. A 5,080mAh battery pack is included here. Bluetooth 5.0 is supported, while there are also two SIM card slots here.
On the back, you’ll find a 13-megapixel main camera, backed by two 2-megapixel units. The phone does support 4G LTE, and it does have an NFC chip. The MediaTek Helio A22 SoC fuels this phone.
The phone is also MIL-STD-810G certified, which essentially means it can take a hit. This is a robustness rating of sorts. All in all, this is one tough smartphone.
This device is obviously made for outdoorsy people, as are the rest of the company’s Armor devices. It may also fit you if you’re a clumsy person, as this device is really forgiving when it comes to drops, unlike most other smartphones.
