There Is Still Hope For The Samsung Galaxy Note 21

There is still hope for the Samsung Galaxy Note 21 series, it seems. Many reports have been suggesting that the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are the last Note-branded smartphones from Samsung. Well, that may not be the case.

There is hope for the Galaxy Note 21, as it’s tipped to arrive in 2021

According to a report from ‘cozyplanes’, the Galaxy Note 21 is coming in 2021. The source claims that Samsung will release it in September next year. He also added that the discontinuation is planned, but for 2022, not 2021.

He also noted that the Galaxy Note 21 may arrive alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The company may announce both devices during the same event. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will take the spotlight, though.

What gives this rumor some legitimacy is Ross Young. Ross Young is a well-known display analyst, who is rarely wrong with his information. He replied to this tweet, saying that he heard similar things.

So, we may actually get another iteration of the Galaxy Note series. The Z Fold 3 was rumored to replace the Galaxy Note 21 completely, but it seems like we may have to wait for that.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will support the S Pen

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is tipped to ship with the S Pen. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will support the S Pen as well, even though it won’t ship with it. Samsung seems to be laying the ground for the demise of the Galaxy Note series.

The company did not confirm any of this, of course, nor will it until the time comes. In any case, 2021 will be quite an interesting year for the company. We’ll see quite a few high-end devices from the company, both regular ones, and foldable ones.

Samsung may even surprise everyone and announce its very first rollable smartphone. The company’s exec was spotted holding a mysterious device recently, not to mention that LG is planning to announce its rollable phone in H1 2021.
