Logitech G has a new gaming mouse for you to try out boasting a light as air design. Ok so it’s not really light as air, but it will be plenty light for those that prefer a mouse that won’t weigh them down.
If that’s you, then Logitech G has something on offer with its new gaming mouse called the Pro X Superlight. As the name suggests, this is a super lightweight mouse that is meant to help you move as quickly as you possibly can.
Though the Superlight is designed to be the opposite of heavy, that doesn’t make it flimsy or feel less durable. And it’s about 25% lighter than Logitech G’s Pro wireless gaming mouse. Weighing in at 63 grams.
With that said, there are other gaming mice out there with a similar weight. So this isn’t your only option for quick hand movements.
The new Pro X Superlight gaming mouse from Logitech G is $150
If there’s any downside to this mouse, even with how light it is, it’s the price tag. For $130 Logitech G will send you the Pro Wireless. It’s heavier, but it also has a few more features and is one of the brand’s best-selling gaming mice.
The Pro X Superlight on the other hand is $150. So you pay $20 more. That being said, it is 63 grams compared to 80 grams. And it comes with an excellent battery life.
Logitech G says it’ll last for up to 70 hours on a single charge. So think of it like this. You’re paying around $1 extra for every hour of battery life that you get over the Pro Wireless model. Which lasts for around 48 hours on a single charge.
The mouse launches in December
Currently the mouse is listed as unavailable on Amazon. But you can also buy it from Best Buy, which says it launches on December 16.
Unfortunately it’s not available for pre-order yet at either of those retailers. Not even Logitech G’s own online store has them in stock. So it would appear that it really is launching a little bit later in the year.
The good news is that if the Bets Buy timing is accurate, it can still be picked up in time for the Holidays. In addition to the 63g weight and 70-hour battery life, the Pro X Superlight also has a Hero 25K sensor, Lightspeed wireless technology, and no additive PTFE feet so the mouse glides across surfaces easier.
