A new report by MySmartPrice reveals some key details about the battery capacity and charging speed of the upcoming Motorola Capri smartphone. Notably, it will sport a large 5,000 mAh battery.
Motorola has had a quiet year compared to its counterparts. It made some heads turn with the launch of the 5G version of the Motorola Razr foldable smartphone.
Then came the news that Motorola will soon launch a couple of budget smartphones in Q1 of 2021. At the beginning of this month, we came up with a report highlighting some key specifications of the Motorola Capri and Capri Plus.
Cut to now, the FCC certification website, the TUV Rheinland certification website, and the UL (Demko) certification of the Motorola Capri reveal some key details about the device.
According to the FCC certification, there will be two Motorola Capri devices with model numbers: Motorola XT2127-1 and XT2127-2. It has been confirmed to be a 4G smartphone.
However, the TUV Rheinland and UL (Demko) certifications give us a sneak peek into the battery capacity and charging speeds of the Motorola Capri and Capri Plus.
The certifications reveal that the phones will have battery capacity of 4,850 mAh and 5,000 mAh, respectively, for the two models. Moreover, the phones will come with a charging speed of standard 10W. Which is disappointing to see.
Motorola Capri is expected to launch with Snapdragon 460 SoC
Talking about other information about the device, it is expected that Motorola Capri will come with the Snapdragon 460 processor. This is the same processor that powers the OnePlus Nord N100. It is still unknown what processor will power the Capri Plus device.
Besides, the Motorola Capri will have a standard 60Hz 720×1600 resolution HD+ display. While, on the other hand, the Motorola Capri Plus is speculated to sport a 90Hz refresh rate display.
The Capri will come with only a single 4GB/64GB variant. Whereas, the Capri Plus will come in 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB onboard storage options.
The Motorola Capri is expected to sport a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The Plus variant will have a 64MP+13MP+2MP+2MP rear camera setup.
As far as selfie cameras are concerned, the Capri will pack an 8MP lens inside the tear-drop notch. Motorola Capri Plus is expected to come with a 13MP selfies camera.
Currently, this is all the information we have about the upcoming Motorola Capri smartphones. Since the devices have received several certifications, we expect some more info about the duo in the coming days.
