The OnePlus 9 prototype has been spotted on eBay. It seems like someone has tried to sell this device for $3,000. The listing has been pulled, while the design of that phone matches a previous leak.
The device’s hands-on images have appeared earlier this month, and this seems to be the same device. The company’s logo is not even imprinted on the back just yet, which is yet another indication that this is just a prototype.
The OnePlus 9 prototype ended up on eBay with too much information
This eBay listing did share more images, though. Even the phone’s ID number watermark is shown, which will make the device extremely easy to trace. In other words, whoever leaked it is in trouble.
This listing was spotted by Mishaal Rahman and @Deadman_Android, by the way. These images also show that the phone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. OxygenOS 11 is also spotted.
The model number listed here is LE2117, and T-Mobile’s 5G logo can also be spotted in the status bar. The phone has been listed as shipping from the US, so someone from T-Mobile seems to have listed it.
This design matches all the leaks we’ve seen recently
This design also matches all the leaked renders we’ve seen recently. The phone will be made out of metal and glass, while it will have two huge sensors on the back, and one smaller one it seems.
A display camera hole will be included in the package, while the phone’s bezels will be extremely thin. The rear camera housing will protrude on the back, while the ‘UltraShot’ branding is visible on the camera housing.
The power / lock button is located on the right, along with the alert slider. The volume up and down buttons are on the left. This is a familiar setup for OnePlus’ smartphones, there’s nothing surprising here.
A SIM card tray is located at the bottom of this device, right next to the Type-C USB port. Take a look at the gallery below and you’ll see the device from pretty much all angles. The OnePlus 9 series is expected to arrive in March, and OnePlus will launch three smartphones, it seems.
