As per a fresh report by Dutch blog GalaxyClub, the camera specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A72 is leaked. Apparently, the phone will come with a quad-camera setup.
Notably, the Samsung Galaxy A72 will come with a 64MP primary lens. There will be a 12MP ultrawide lens, along with a 5MP macro camera lens and a 5MP depth lens.
The 4G variant of the phone will carry the model number SM-A725F, while the 5G version of Galaxy A72 will have model number SM-A726B. As per the reports, the Galaxy A72 duo will be launched in Europe.
Talking about the price of the devices, the Galaxy A72 4G will carry a price tag of €450-500. On the other hand, the Galaxy A72 5G will be priced between €550-600.
Samsung will launch its phones in early 2021. It is also reported that it is speculated that Galaxy A72 will be the first device in the A-series lineup to come with optical image stabilization (OIS). But there is no confirmation on this.
Samsung Galaxy A72 will come with an aluminum frame and glasstic back
Earlier today, the design of the Galaxy A72 smartphone was leaked, which was shared by OnLeaks aka Steve Hemmerstoffer. As per OnLeaks, the Galaxy A72 will come with a frame made out of aluminum.
However, the phone will not sport a glass back. With the launch of Galaxy Note 20 series phones, Samsung introduced a new version of plastic, calling it “Glasstic.”
The company can call it whatever they want, but it is indeed plastic. And this is the same material that the Galaxy A72’s back will be made of. The Galaxy A72 will sport thin-bezels.
Although the bezels may not be as thin as the Galaxy S21 series, they are thin enough. At the center of the display, there will be a punch-hole that will house the front camera.
Samsung Galaxy A72 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch flat display. It will reportedly measure 165 x 77.4 x 8.1mm (9.9mm with the rear camera bump), while a 3.5mm headphone jack will also be included.
The fingerprint scanner will be placed inside the display of the screen. There is no word whether it will be the optical fingerprint scanner or the new-gen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner that will debut with the Galaxy S21 lineup.
