These Are The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Specs, In Detail

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra specs have just surfaced, in detail. This information comes from WinFuture, the same source that brought us the Galaxy S21 series renders yesterday.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra specs leaked, and there’s plenty of detail here

Some of this information we already knew, but there’s a lot we did not. So, let’s get started, shall we. Starting with the SoC, considering this is the European spec sheet for the device, it’s the Exynos 2100. The US variant will be fueled by the Snapdragon 888.

In any case, the Exynos 2100 is a 64-bit octa-core processor which, in this case, consists out of three cores clocked at 2.8Ghz, four at 2.4GHz, and one at 2.9GHz. We’re guessing it’s a 5nm chip. Speaking of which, that chip will become official in January.

The device will feature a 6.8-inch Infinity-O-Edge display, which is a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. It will be a WQHD+ (3200 x 1440) display with 515 ppi. That display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 7, and will have a dynamic refresh rate (1-120Hz).

12GB RAM and a 5,000mAh battery

The European model will come with 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of internal storage. A 5,000mAh battery will also be included in the package, and will support fast wired and wireless charging. Details haven’t been shared, but we’re guessing 45W wired charging will be included. Wireless charging may be limited to 15W, but we’ll see.

In terms of cameras, there will be four on the back, and one on the front. A 108-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture, 79-degree FoV, 24mm lens, 0.8um pixel size, OIS) will be included. That is Samsung’s ISOCELL sensor, and it’s a 2nd-gen sensor.

A 12-megapixel ultra-wide unit (f/2.2 aperture, 120-degree FoV, 13mm lens, 1.4um pixel size) will also be included on the back. On top of that, Samsung will include two 10-megapixel telephoto cameras.

The phone will feature two 10-megapixel telephoto cameras, four rear cameras in total

One 10-megapixel telephoto camera will include an f/2.4 aperture lens, with a 35-degree FoV. It will be a 72mm lens, with 1.22um pixel size, and OIS support. The second 10-megapixel camera will come with an f/4.9 aperture, 10-degree FoV, and it will be a 240mm lens (periscope). It will offer 1.22um pixel size, and OIS support.

This camera setup will provide 3 and 10 times hybrid optical zoom, thanks to those telephoto lenses. PDAF will be supported, as will laser autofocus.

A 40-megapixel camera will sit on the front side of the phone. We’re looking at a camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens, with 80-degree FoV, 0.7um pixel size, and autofocus support.

A new ultrasonic fingerprint scanner will be included in the package. The same goes for Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. The device will be water and dust resistant, by the way, as it will be IP68-certified.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will measure 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm, and weigh 228 grams. If you’d like to know more about the Galaxy S21 series, check out our preview article.
