Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro Earbuds Already Getting First Update

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S21 series, i.e. the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra devices along with the Galaxy Buds Pro at the Unpacked event on January 14. Now, the Galaxy Buds Pro is already grabbing its first update.

As per the SamMobile, after the latest update, the wireless earphones can now adjust the left/right sound balance. This feature would be beneficial for users with hearing impairments.

The update brings improvements to the Bixby voice wake-up response and also improves the overall system stability and reliability. Samsung has always been on its toes to push the latest updates.

It is nice to see Samsung making sure that before the Galaxy Buds Pro makes its way to users, they will get the best possible sound experience out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is the best ever truly wireless earbuds from the company. Thanks to the hype around the device, a hands-on video was leaked way before the device went official.

The Buds Pro comes with an improved Ambient sound feature, Active Noise Cancellation, and IPX7 certification for water and dust resistance.

Moreover, the Galaxy Buds Pro offers 5-18 hours of playtime, is compatible with devices running Android 7 or higher. However, the devices should have at least 1.5GB of RAM or more.

Galaxy Buds Pro features Bluetooth 5.0 and a dual-driver setup

The Buds Pro comes with features including Bluetooth 5.0, dual-driver setup, USB Type-C port, fast charging, and wireless charging support. Samsung has kept a price tag of $199 for the Galaxy Buds Pro. There is 360-degree audio, Game Mode, and touch controls as well.

This year, Samsung has stuck with the oval design, different from the circular shape of its predecessor. The charging case of the Buds Pro is similar to the Galaxy Buds Live.

Coming back to the Galaxy Buds Pro update, it arrives with build number AUA1 and weighs around 2.2MB in size. There are several performance improvements along with a new feature bundled with this new update for the Galaxy Buds Pro.

The update is being pushed via OTA in batches. Meaning that it won’t be live for all users at the same time. However, if you wish to check for the update, then you can manually check for it from the Wearable app.

For that, you need to head over to the Galaxy Wearable app and tap on the Watch software update. If a new update is available, then tap on Download and Install button.
