Samsung Galaxy S21 Series Europe Release Date Tipped

If Android Police’s latest leak is correct then the Samsung Galaxy S21 release date should make a lot of people happy. The official announcement is only one week away. But customers will be able to get their hands on the new smartphones on January 29 at least in Europe.

The leak comes via a tweet from Roland Quandt. His tweet is very to the point. It simply says “Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be ‘available starting January 29 (Europe). Again, this comes as welcome news for many Samsung fans waiting for the new phones.

News of the Samsung Galaxy S21 release date is a welcome one compared to the Samsung Galaxy S20’s release date. Back in 2020, the Samsung Galaxy S20 was announced on February 11 at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event. But the phone was available for purchase on March 6 2020 in the United States, and March 13 in Europe.

Although the leak states the phone will be available in Europe on January 29, US customers will be a tad bit disappointed. Unfortunately, there is no information from the leaker about when the phone will go on sale here in the US.

However, if history repeats itself then the phones may be available around the same time as Europe. They could go on sale on the same day or earlier. Customers interested in the Samsung Galaxy S21 can take advantage of some pre-order deals.

Samsung Galaxy S21 release date is close

First, though it is easy to reserve the phone. Customers just need to head to the Samsung Shop app and click on the banner teasing the “next Galaxy”. That banner will reveal a “Reserve Now” button which takes you to a pre-order registration page.

The new Samsung Galaxy S21 looks to be a solid upgrade over its predecessor. The specs it features include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 depending on your market. Android 11 will be on board, as well as 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED. However, the Ultra model will have a QHD+ display at 120Hz.
