Samsung is launching the Galaxy S21 lineup this week. Notably, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will be the first S-series device to support the S-Pen. Now, some images of a non-flip Galaxy S21 Ultra case have been leaked.
FYI, although the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with S-Pen support, unlike the Galaxy Note series, there will be no built-in S Pen holster inside Galaxy S21 Ultra.
To fix this issue, S21 Ultra cases’ images have been floating around the internet with an S-Pen slot. Coming back to the leaked images, it shows a silicone case that has a cavity to store the S-Pen.
Apparently, the optional S-Pen accessory for the Galaxy S21 Ultra won’t be coming only with the flip case. Many do not prefer a flip case, for some notable reasons.
First, it hides the design or looks of the devices. And second, it makes the device bulky. So, the leaked images of a non-flip Galaxy S21 Ultra S-Pen case give a second option for users to choose from.

These leaked images have been reported by WinFuture. According to the leaked images, this new non-flip Galaxy S21 Ultra case has an S-Pen slot on the left side.
It is definitely a better option than the flip case, because of the two reasons mentioned above. However, that does not change the fact that the new non-flip case is not as elegant as the Galaxy Note series.
Samsung should have made some magnetic arrangements to hold the S-Pen onto the device, just like the Apple iPad. These cases will make the already heavy Galaxy S21 Ultra, heavier.
Moreover, there is no eject mechanism or the satisfying clicker button at the top. But we have to give it to Samsung, as this is like a first-gen move for the Galaxy S-series to support S-Pen.
We hope, going forward, Samsung will look into other alternatives to bring S-Pen support on Galaxy S-series phones. Pricing details about these S-Pen cases remain unknown for the time being.
