It seems like there is no stopping Motorola from launching new smartphones. According to the latest official tweet by Motorola, the company has announced a new Motorola Moto E7 Power.
Notably, the Motorola Moto E7 Power just launched in India and is a budget device, which packs some decent specs. Last month, the company launched a bunch of smartphones including the Motorola One 5G Ace, Moto G Stylus, Moto G Play, and Moto G Power.
Then, later this month, three new smartphones, the Moto G10, G30, and E7 Power surfaced online, which have yet to launch. Furthermore, there are reports that suggest Motorola will soon introduce a Snapdragon 800-series smartphone as well.
And a few days back, Motorola released the Moto E6i with Android 10 Go Edition. Fast forward to now, Motorola is back again with another new device called the Moto E7 Power.
The Moto E7 Power comes with a 6.5-inch, 20:9 aspect ratio with HD+ resolution display. It sports a waterdrop notch that houses a 5MP selfie camera. The device is powered by the Helio G25 SoC. Motorola has packed the device with Android 10.
It comes in two memory and RAM options, 2GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. For further expansion, the device has a dedicated microSD card slot, which allows storage expansion up to 1TB.
Moto E7 Power’s fingerprint reader is located at the back along with a dual-camera setup
Getting into the details about the camera, the phone rocks a dual-camera setup. It comprises a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP macro lens.
Moreover, the rear of Moto E7 Power also houses the fingerprint scanner. The good thing is that if you use Google Assistant more frequently, then the device comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button on the right-side.
Other features of the device include x2 MIMO support, an IP52 rating, and USB-C port for charging, which is nice to see because a Type-C port is not something we see often on a budget device.
The phone retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. Motorola has launched the Moto E7 Power in two colors, Tahiti Blue and Coral Red. Talking about the battery, it is juiced by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
Another good thing that people from India will relate to is, as per the official press note, Motorola claims that the Moto E7 Power is a “100% made in India” phone.
Moto E7 Power will go on sale via Flipkart from February 26. The device will carry the price tag of INR7,499 ($105/€85) for the base variant, i.e. 2GB/32GB. Whereas, the 4GB/64GB model will cost you INR8,299 ($115/€95). There is no clarity whether the device will be launched in other markets or not.
