Another Samsung smartphone is now ticked off from the list of devices that have received Android 11. Notably, the One UI 3.0 Android 11 update is now seeding for Galaxy A71 5G.

Considering the huge portfolio of phones Samsung maintains, the Korean OEM is doing its best to push the Android 11 One UI 3.0 update to its devices.

Just a few days ago, Samsung Galaxy A51 picked up the Android 11 update. And now, it is time for Galaxy A71 5G to be served with the Android 11 stable update.

The official software update page of Galaxy A71 5G reveals the information about this latest update. The update is currently available for users in India.

However, we expect the update to expand over to other regions in the coming days. This new Galaxy A71 5G Android 11 One UI 3.0 update arrives with build CUA7.

It weighs around 2GB in size. So, you should use a stable and fast Wi-Fi internet connection to download this update on your phone.

Galaxy A71 5G Android 11 update also brings January 2021 security patch

The Galaxy A71 5G smartphone debuted back in June 2020. To recall, it comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED punch-hole display and is powered by Samsung Exynos 980 SoC.

It comes with 8GB of RAM and offers 128GB of onboard storage. There is a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.

Moreover, at the back, it houses a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 5MP lenses. The phone is juiced by a 4,500 mAh battery.

The important thing to note is that the update also bumps the security patch level to the latest January 2021. Talking about the feature of the Android 11 update, it brings all stock Android goodies along with One UI 3.0 features.

This includes Quick Settings toggle, notification bubbles, redesigned volume controls, revamped home screen design, new icons, video enhancer, improved privacy and security controls, etc.

Since the update is pushed via OTA, it will not be straightaway available for all Galaxy A71 5G users. But you can check for the update manually. In order to that head over to Settings.

Then you need to navigate to “System updates.” From there, tap the “Download and install” option. You can proceed with downloading and installation of the update if a new update is available.

Besides, if the update is not available, then you may need to wait for the rollout to expand for more users. For more information about the entire changelog and the features this new update brings, you can head over here.
