Samsung Galaxy M12 With 6.5-Inch Display, 6000mAh Battery Announced

In January last month, Samsung Galaxy M12 was tipped to launch in February. It seems like the tip was right as Samsung has silently launched the Galaxy M12 in Vietnam.

The phone comes with an infinity-V display and a massive battery. Recently, Samsung launched Galaxy M02 as rebranded Galaxy A02, which also comes with the infinity-V display.

Previously leaked CAD renders were to the point and the official images are identical. Coming to the specifications of the Galaxy M12 phone, it comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT display. There is a water-drop notch that houses the front camera.

The phone is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Exynos 850 processor and Mali G52 GPU. Moreover, the Exynos 850 SoC is paired with 3GB/ 4GB/ 6GB of RAM.

Galaxy M12 offers 32GB/ 64GB/ 128GB storage, which can further be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. Under the hood, the Galaxy M12 comes with Android 11 One UI 3.0 skin.

Samsung Galaxy M12 packs a 48MP quad-camera setup with an 8MP front camera

Talking about the cameras on the phone, the Galaxy M12 packs a quad-camera setup. It sports a 48MP (f/2.0) primary wide-angle lens, 5MP (f/2.2) ultrawide, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro sensor. You can record up to FHD (1920 x 1080) @30fps.

For selfies, the Galaxy M12 packs an 8MP sensor. The dimension of the phone measures 164.0mm x 75.9mm x 9.7mm and weighs 221 grams.

It is juiced by a massive 6,000 mAh battery that also comes with 15W fast charging support. So, the device would last you comfortably for 2 days. But that also depends on your usage pattern.

The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side of the phone. The fingerprint scanner is embedded into the power button. Galaxy M12 supports Dual-SIM along with a dedicated microSD card slot.

Good news for audiophiles, as the phone also has a 3.5mm audio jack. Other features of the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS + GLONASS. At the bottom, there is a USB Type-C port.

You get all the essential sensors like Accelerometer, Grip Sensor, Virtual Light Sensor, and Virtual Proximity Sensor. As mentioned above, Samsung has launched the Galaxy M12 in Vietnam. But we expect it to arrive in other regions, including India, in the coming days.

The phone is available to purchase from retail stores, as stated on the official website. There are four attractive colors to choose from, namely Black, Elegant Blue, and Trendy Emerald Green. The price of the phone is unknown at the moment.
