The Huawei P50 series is right around the corner, and the rear-facing cameras have just surfaced in images. These two images come from Teme, a tipster. We don’t know if this is the Huawei P50, P50 Pro, or P50 Pro+ in the images, though.
It is not specified which phone we’re looking at, but the images do say “Huawei P50 series”, as does the tipster itself. That being said, these images show a bit different design compared to the CAD-based renders that appeared in March. Perhaps there will be some differences between P50 models, in the design department.
The Huawei P50 series cameras are shown in these images, and they look interesting
We can see only a part of the design here, but it does look interesting. There are two camera circles on the back. In the top circle you’ll notice three camera sensors, while one is placed in the bottom one, it seems. There seem to be two separate LED light sensors here.
Both of those camera circles do protrude on the back, a bit. You will notice that the physical buttons are on the right. The power / lock button is placed right below the volume rocker buttons.
At the top, you’ll notice what seems to be a secondary speaker, a noise-cancelling microphone, and an IR blaster. At least it looks like an IR blaster, we’ll have to wait and see, it could be something else.
You’ll also notice that the back of this phone is curved towards the sides, and even to the top, a bit. The top side of the phone is flat, though, for the most part. Huawei had a somewhat similar design language in the past, at least when it comes to the flat top and bottom sides.
Huawei will likely use glass and metal to make the P50 series
The device likely uses a frame made out of metal, and a glass back. That’s what it looks like, at the very least, as the source did not exactly go into details here, he simply shared the images.
So, when will the Huawei P50 series launch? Well, at this point we can only guess. The Huawei P40 series launched back in April last year, so we’re past the one-year mark at this point. Huawei will probably look to launch the P50 series soon, but the exact date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
