First OnePlus Nord CE 5G Update Brings Display & Camera Improvements

The very first OnePlus Nord CE 5G update has arrived. This update is marked as OxygenOS 11.0.2.2, and it brings both display and camera improvements to the table.

First OnePlus Nord CE 5G update focus on camera and display improvements

Do note that the changelog for the update is quite short, though. There are only four entries included here. Let’s talk about the camera first, shall we. The update improves the portrait photography of the selfie camera, it is said.

This update also improves the accuracy of screen color on the OnePlus Nord CE 5G’s display. OnePlus also says that it “fixed known issues and improved stability” of the OS here.

This update also boosts the security aspect here. It brings a new Android security patch, a security patch for May 2021. Granted, that’s not the latest security patch, as the one for June already launched, but it’s close enough.

More updates are expected to follow in the coming weeks / months

You can expect more updates to roll out to this phone in the coming months. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G was announced earlier this month, well, about a week ago, actually. So, it’s a brand new smartphone.

OnePlus is obviously trying to fine-tune things following its launch, to provide users with the best experience possible. The company does that with pretty much all of its devices as soon as they launch.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is a budget smartphone from the company. It is fueled by the Snapdragon 750G SoC, and it comes in several RAM and storage variants. It has three cameras on the back, and one on the front.

The phone does include a 90Hz fullHD+ AMOLED display, two SIM card slots, and it even supports 30W fast wired charging. Wireless charging is not offered here.

All in all, this phone does have a lot to offer for the asking price, that’s for sure, and updates are always welcomed, as long as they improve user experience.
