The official OnePlus Nord N200 5G image is here, and it’s not even a leak. This image has been provided to PCMag by OnePlus itself, so it’s as official as it gets. You can check out the render above to take a closer look at the phone.
The official OnePlus Nord N200 5G image is here, with some additional details
The source actually talked with OnePlus’ CEO, Pete Lau, and he revealed more details about the device. He said that this phone will raise the bar for budget phones with 5G and 90Hz displays in the US.
He also said that the phone will cost less than $250. This handset is supposed to succeed the OnePlus Nord N100, needless to say. That phone didn’t exactly get great reviews, so it will be interesting to see if this one will do any better.
The OnePlus Nord N200 5G will feature a 6.49-inch fullHD+ LCD display. That will surely be an improvement over an HD+ panel that was included on the OnePlus Nord N100.
As you can see, the phone will feature a flat display, and a display camera hole in the top-left corner. Its bezels won’t be thick, but its bottom bezel will be thicker than the rest of them.
An alert slider won’t be included, it seems
The device won’t include an alert slider, it seems, at least not on the right side. What will be included on the right side is a power / lock key which will double as a fingerprint scanner. The volume up and down buttons will be placed on the left.
This phone will feature three cameras on the back. Those cameras will be vertically-aligned, and placed in the top-left corner of the phone’s back side. OnePlus’ logo will also be included back there.
We’re still not sure what materials will OnePlus use to make this phone, but plastic is a viable option. The company may surprise us, though, we’ll have to wait until it launches.
At this point, it’s unknown when will OnePlus announce this handset. The OnePlus Nord N100 arrived back in November last year, so it’s possible this one will land in Q4 as well. It’s a bit odd OnePlus already released its image, though, that suggests it may come sooner than expected.
